Courtney Calandro is a native to Connecticut. She attended Quinnipiac University in Hamden as an undergraduate and was a member of the Entry-Level Masters Physician Assistant Program; an intensive educational program for students who intend to become Physician Assistants. While in school, she worked as a Pharmacy Technician and an Emergency Medical Technician. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Baccalaureate degree in Health Sciences. She went on to receive her Masters degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant certification from Quinnipiac as well.
Courtney is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants. She holds her certification with the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants. She maintains her Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
At GCC, Courtney is happy caring for patients in both the office and hospital settings. She enjoys the broad spectrum of gastrointestinal related conditions. She is affiliated with the Hospital of St. Raphael, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Milford Hospital, and Middlesex Hospital. She frequently attends lectures and conferences to stay updated with new medical advances.
